NLA’s Financial Aid Program

The NLA’s FINANCIAL AID PROGRAM seeks to target all persons living with disabilities enrolled at the University of Liberia, and state-run universities across the country with the primary focus of paying their registration fees and provide them with transportation allowance during the inception of an academic semester.

This exercise is meant to encourage more disabled persons to seek higher education especially at the level of university, to empower them to remain focus on their studies, to address inequalities and challenges faced by persons with disabilities attending higher institutions of learning and to reassure them that the Government through the National Lottery Authority cares about their wellbeing, as part of the NLA statutory mandate. 132 disabled students are current beneficiaries of this NLA’s Financial Aid Program.
