Caution to the General Public: Termination of Blue Star Hi-Tech Company (Liberia) Limited’s Authority to Operate the 5/90 Lottery

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) hereby informs the general public, business partners, vendors, agents, and all other stakeholders that the 5/90 Lottery Operator Agreement between the NLA and Blue Star Hi-Tech Company (Liberia) Limited (“Blue Star”) was terminated effective May 22, 2026.

Blue Star is no longer an authorized operator of the 5/90 lottery in the Republic of Liberia. Blue Star has no NLA authorization to conduct, advertise, sell, collect funds for, or otherwise transact any 5/90 lottery-related business.

Notice to the Public

Members of the public, retailers, agents, suppliers, and any other party are hereby cautioned that:

• Blue Star’s authority to operate under the 5/90 Lottery Operator Agreement has ended.
• Any person or entity who continues to engage, transact, or do business with Blue Star in connection with the 5/90 lottery — including purchasing tickets, making payments, entering agreements, or accepting representations made in the NLA’s name — does so entirely at their own risk.
• The NLA assumes no responsibility or liability for any losses, disputes, or damages arising from dealings with Blue Star after the effective date of termination.
• The NLA does not guarantee or back any prize, payment, promise, or obligation made or purported to be made by Blue Star from May 22, 2026 onward.

Guidance for the Public

Any member of the public with questions about the status of the 5/90 lottery, or who wishes to verify the authenticity of any communication claiming to be from the NLA or an authorized operator, should contact the Office of the Director General directly using the contact details below before making any payment or entering any agreement.
